Camps and Special Events

Powell Dance Academy offers summer camps and other special events throughout the year. Our special events include workshops and seasonal half-day camps on non-school weekdays.

Our camps and special events are open to both girls and boys. A great way to try something new! Our upcoming events are listed below.

Half Day Camps: Seasonal FUN for Days Off School

9am-11:30pm | ages 3-7 | $35 | Register

Join us for a morning of fun! Dance, activities, a craft, and a morning your child will love! We host seasonal half day camps on non-school weekdays. Drop the kids off with us and enjoy the morning to yourself. Space is limited in all of our upcoming events to allow for social distancing. The Royal Ball

Ages 4-7 | June 20-23 | 9am-12pm

Calling all mermen and mermaids for some fun under the sea!
PDA Summer Camps are for both girls AND boys, include plenty of fun, crafts, stories, dress-up time, and dancing! If a camp is shown full, we encourage you to join the waitlist so we can plan accordingly and get your child enrolled.

Magic Tree House

Ages 6-10 | July 11-14 | 9am-12pm

Is your child a fan of the Magic Tree House book series?? Adventure and excitement are waiting for them in the Magic Tree House Camp!

Descendants

Ages 6-12 | June 14-17 | 12pm-3pm
Ages 4-7 | June 28-July 1 | 9am-12pm

Who doesn't love pirates, magic spells, and dragons? Villains are so misunderstood! PDA Summer Camps are for both girls AND boys, include plenty of fun, crafts, stories, dress-up time, and dancing! Tik Tok Lab

Ages 8-12 | July 11-14 | 1pm-4pm
Ages 8-12 | July 25-28 | 1:30am-4:30pm

Fun, Games, Dancing with Tik Tok Challenges! No experience is necessary. PED and/or access to social media is not required. PDA Summer Camps are for both girls AND boys, include plenty of fun, crafts, stories, dress-up time, and dancing! Hip Hop Boot Camp

Ages 6-12 | July 5-8 | 12:15pm-3:15pm
Ages 6-12 | July 18-21 | 9am-12pm

Fundamentals of Hip Hop dance for ages 6-12. No experience is necessary. Please wear clean sneakers and soft pants or leggings. Camps are for both girls AND boys, include plenty of fun, games, crafts, and dancing! If a camp is shown full, we encourage you to join the wait list so we can plan accordingly and get your child enrolled.

You Can Be Anything Camp

Ages 4-7 | July 19-22 | 12pm-3pm

Barbie says, "You Can Be Anything!" Let's explore all the possibilities together! PDA Summer Camps are for both girls AND boys, include plenty of fun, crafts, stories, dress-up time, and dancing! Musical Theatre

Ages 6-12 | June 27-30 | 12:15pm-3:15pm
Ages 8-12 | July 11-14 | 9am-12pm

Learn to be a "triple-threat!" Singing, acting, and dancing combine with Broadway and Hollywood classics to make our Musical Theatre Camps the fastest-growing program at PDA! PDA Summer Camps are for both girls AND boys, include plenty of fun, crafts, stories, dress-up time, and dancing! Enchanted Encanto

We don't talk about Bruno, but we'll sing and dance about him and all the fun characters from Disney's Encanto Movie!
