Powell Dance Academy is now offering Acro Dance! Acro Dance combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements.
It’s defined by it’s flexibility and athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.
As a certified Acrobatics Arts studio, our students have the opportunity to learn and master new skills in a safe environment.

Questions About Acro Dance?
How old does my dancer need to be?
Our pre-acro class starts at age 4. All of our acro classes are leveled. A strict regime is required to level up.
What is the dress code?
Leotard, tan footless tights, bare feet - no skirts or leotards with attached skirts
Does my dancer need acro experience?
Since this is a new program for us, all classes are beginning at level 1 regardless of age so no previous experience is required at this time.
