Leotards, tights, and shoes are available for purchase or special order in the PDA office. The recommendations below will match the costume requirements for our end-of-year recital. Please see your child's instructor for more details if you have questions.
For all classes, hair must be pulled securely back out of face in a bun or braid. Parents, please double-knot young dancers' shoelaces and trim excess elastic from ballet shoes. Any clothing or shoes that could damage our dance floors or equipment is not permitted.
Tots and Combo Classes: Any solid color leotard, pink tights, and pink leather ballet shoes. Dancers will need tap shoes also if doing the Ballet/Tap Combo class.
Pre-Dance, Ballet, Pointe: Any solid color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Skirts, ballet sweaters, and leg warmers ok. (Black leotard recommended for Ballet 1 and up.)
Pre-Tap, Tap: Any solid color leotard, tan tights, and black tap shoes. (Black leotard recommended for Tap 1 and up.) For PreTap and Tap 1 classes, Mary-Jane Black tap shoes are recommended. Tap 2 through Tap 4/5 classes, Black Oxford tap shoes are recommended.
Jazz 1 and up: Any solid color leotard, tan tights, and tan jazz shoes. (Black leotard recommended.)
Hip-Hop: Any solid color leotard, tan tights, and black jazz sneakers. (Black leotard recommended.) Loose street clothing is permitted (no metal zippers or grommets, as these damage the floor).
Musical Theatre: Any solid color leotard, tan tights, and tan jazz shoes. (Black leotard recommended.)
Lyrical: Any solid color leotard, and tan tights. For class, ballet shoe, lyrical sandal, foot paw, or bare feet are acceptable. Recital shoe to be determined by instructor.
Adult Classes: No leotard or tights necessary! Comfortable clothing and supportive dance shoes suggested.
40-Minute Class $55.00/ month
55-Minute Class $73.00/ month
Zoom Pass $160/ session
Tots Classes $128/ session
Combo Classes $187/ session
Multi-class, multi-camp, and multi-student discounts are available. Student and family unlimited rates are also available for those who qualify.
Fall and winter class registration fee is $40 per family. Tots and combo registration fee is $20. A deposit of last month's tuition and your registration fee save your child's spot in class. Registration fees are non-refundable.
PDA accepts cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard (sorry, we do not accept Discover or American Express).
All tuition is broken down into 10 (September-June) equal monthly installments regardless of the number of classes each month. If you choose to withdraw from the program, written notice is required. No refunds will be given for classes missed/not made up nor will it be pro rated when you withdraw after tuition has been paid. Upon withdrawal, all account balances will be charged to the credit card on file with the PDA office. Tuition is due by the first of each month. If accounts are unpaid after the tenth (10th) of the month, there will be a $20.00 late fee applied to the account balance. No exceptions. There is a $35.00 returned check charge for any checks returned by the bank.
